About
Tee ball is a Saturday only program for children ages 3-5. Age cut-offs for the Spring season are as of May 1st of that year. Age cut-offs for the Fall season are as of May 1st of the next year. All players will hit, advancing one base at time. There are no outs and no score is kept.
Registration
Registration for tee ball is handled directly through East Valley Baseball. Please go to their site to register. Registration for the 2022 Fall season is open. Practices start 3-4 weeks prior to the first game. Teams do fill up quickly, so register early. This is a 10 week session and includes a jersey, hat, and socks.
Necessities
Glove – Each girl needs a glove. You will want to find one that fits. Please write your name on the glove as there will be likely similar ones on the team. The one below is pretty common.

Optional
Bat – There will be bats available for your daughter to use. Bats can be purchased as well. Please make sure to purchase a bat that is the appropriate weight and length for your daughter. Most girls would need a 2 1/4” bat with a -13 or -13.5 drop weight. An example would be 24 in / 11 oz or a 25 in / 12 oz bat. There may be similar bats on the team, so please write your name on it.

Cleats – Cleats are not necessary at this age and can be difficult to find in an appropriate size. If you would like to purchase cleats, your best bet is to look at soccer cleats.
Uniforms
The league provides each girl with a hat, jersey, and socks. The Peaches uniform also requires a skirt, which is the responsibility of the parents. We will be placing an order for all the girls skirts. Reimbursement for the skirts can be paid via cash, check, or Venmo.

Parent Involvement
We would love to have as much parent involvement as possible. We can use the help during practice and games. Additionally, parents can help by getting the girls ready to bat.
Preseason Practices
There are three practices schedule before the season for an hour each. However, the girls usually don’t last that long. Be prepared for an hour, but it will likely end at about 45 minutes. The girls can wear pants/shorts and any shirt to practices. Tennis shoes are all that are needed, but cleats may be worn. Please bring a glove and water to practice.
Game Day
Games are played at Espee Park, 450 E Knox Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225. The games will be played on field 2, which is the north field. We will be in the infield, left field, center field, or right field. The app will let you know which one. We will also have a banner on the fence indicating where we will be playing. If we are in the outfield, there will not be any seating. If you would like to sit in a chair, you will need to bring one.
Before each game, there is a 30 minute practice in the same location as our game. Please arrive by 8:30. We will be hitting and running drills. Games start at 9:00 and last about 45 minutes. Each game should be two innings. Please dress your daughter in full uniform (hat, jersey, skirt, socks, shoes). Tennis shoes are fine for games, but cleats may be worn. Please make sure to bring a glove and water to games.
Last Batter
The last batter of each inning gets to hit a home run. We will make sure each girl gets at least one chance to hit a home run this season. Please let us know if there are games you will not make it to so we do not miss your daughter.
Game Balls
Our intent is to give away the game ball for each game to one of the girls. Each girl should receive a ball. Please let us know if there are games you will not make it to so we do not miss your daughter.
Snacks
After each practice and game we will have a snack. Each girl is expected to sign up for at least one practice or game. If you forget your snack, $1, $2, and $3 tokens can be purchased at the concession stand to give to the girls.
Picture Day
Individual and team photos are taken each season. We will need to be at the park early that day in order to get our pictures taken. We will provide you with a link to order pictures prior to that date.
End of Season
The girls will each receive a participation trophy with their name on it at the end of the season. We will hand them out at an end of the season party. Please let us know if you are unable to attend the party in order to receive your daughters trophy separately.
